Occupied Campus
Kept Operational
Pariseault was in the midst of interior renovations to create a campus store in the John Hazen White Center when the Renaissance Hall project concept was brought to our team. Most older residence halls lack the amenities that appeal to today’s students, so we frequently join with universities like JWU to upgrade their design, finishes, and technology. Thanks to our experience and long-standing relationship with the University, the school entrusted us with this project and negotiated it directly with us. The concept for this 9-story dormitory building was to enhance the quality of life for student living. JWU engaged our team to build the prototypes of this new design and together with Ed Wojcik Architects, we renovated and reconfigured common areas and combined suites to create open kitchen spaces and larger living spaces that would foster community. Interior finishes and furnishings were also upgraded to create a more residential feel. Photography by Warren Jagger Photography
