The Achievement First Iluminar Mayoral Academy involved both new construction and renovation of a 75,000 SF building along with a 17,000 SF addition. The facility now features state-of-the-art classrooms, offices, athletics, library, cafeteria, and auditorium space to support a vibrant educational environment. The new addition provides a high school competition gymnasium, dance and martial arts studios. The project required strict adherence to Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) processes and procedures and compliance with Northeast Collaborative for High Performance Schools sustainability standards. Following completion, the school now accommodates 700 students in grades 9 through 11, providing modern, flexible learning and recreation spaces designed for long-term success.
